Come Celebrate Civil Rights Leader Martin Luther King, Jr.

“There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.” (MLK, Jr.)

King based his demonstrations on the style of Gandhi: peaceful protests of injustice.  The large numbers who joined the marches, as well as his many famous speeches, led the way for the Civil Rights movement.

On Friday January 13th at 2pm and on Wednesday January 18th at 3:30 pm our Street Demonstration will be honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement.
